BANNER GRAPHICS Banner graphics are offered in four types of materials: LightJet with Laminate: Our most popular choice because of its brilliant photo quality finish. Laminate choices are textured, matte, and luster. Tear resistant, matte paper that gives you a bright colored non-glare finish. Polypropylene:1200 DPI ink jet process. Tear resistant, matte material that gives you a bright colored non-glare finish. A reasonable light duty application usually recommended for short-term use. Vinyl: Also known as "scrim vinyl," is one of our most popular banner material due to its high print quality and durability. Polyester reinforced vinyl material is ideal in price and performance. Provides strong, vibrant colors. Good choice for indoor/outdoor use. Arizona or Vutek output options use solvent inks that are UV and weather resistant for outdoor or indoor use. Fabric: A high-class application that is lightweight, versatile and durable. Lightweight Polyester fabric with translucent properties allowing backlighting if desired. Wrinkle, stain and fade resistant. Output Requirement 1) The highest quality output is created from Photoshop CMYK TIFF files. For “raster” graphics, the larger the file, the better your output. We occasionally print full-graphic displays from files less then 100MB. However, files of 300-600MB have much more detail and look noticeably better. 2) If using any program other than Photoshop, be sure all image are saved in CMYK format. Setup files at 100% of final size and 150 DPI/PPI (300 DPI/PPI at 50%). Leave images in CMYk mode for best results. Minimum acceptable levels are 100-110DPI/PPI for graphics and 100-120DPI for photographs. 3) DO NOT increase both image size and image resolution of your file without rescanning. Artificially increasing image resolution in a program like Adobe Photoshop will reduce image quality by making the image appear out of focus and fuzzy. 4) Select Pantone colors directly (do not “build” colors). Do not overlap vector & raster graphics of the same color. 5) All images placed or embedded into documents shout be included separately, in addition to the completed file. Convert all text to paths (or curves). 6) Always include Color Hardcopy (printout) of files for reference. Applications supported Our art department is primarily Macintosh based. We do NOT guarantee a perfect color match for your file and monitor, color is device- dependent, and will vary considerable from uncalibrated monitor to uncalibrated monitor. For best results, calibrate your monitor using gamma control and SWOP standards. Your file will be printed as-is. No refunds or reprints on your prepared files.
